What to pack
Arrival & Welcome
Layers, always. The Granite Belt sits at 800m — even summer nights drop sharply.
- Winter (May–September): warm jacket, beanie, gloves, thermals for the colder nights. Frost is common. Possible snow flurries in July.
- Shoulder (March–April, October): a good jumper and a light jacket. Long pants for evenings.
- Summer (November–February): swimmers if you're heading to the Girraween rock pools, sunscreen, and a hat. Still pack a jumper.
Year-round: sturdy walking shoes for the granite tracks. Trail runners or hiking boots — not thongs.
We supply linen, towels, toiletries, hairdryer, dishwashing supplies and pantry basics. You bring food, drinks, layers, and (if you'd like to stream) a Chromecast or Apple TV.
