Walking Track 1 — Granite Escarpment

Trailhead behind the gazebo. Around 25 minutes return. Moderate grade.

The track climbs gently to a granite escarpment with a panoramic valley view that catches its breath even after the hundredth visit. Pine-shaded most of the way, with rest stops on the boulders.

Sturdy shoes — loose granite gravel in places. Daylight only; we'd rather not send you out with a torch.
