Explore the Granite Belt
~35 min drive south. Granite landscapes that don't quite look real, wildflowers in spring, walking trails for any level, and rock pools to swim in by summer.
Easy: Granite Arch loop, 45 min return, mostly flat.
Medium: The Junction, 2 hr return, gentle climb.
Big day: The Pyramid summit, 3 hr return — granite scramble at the top, properly satisfying.
Pack 2L water per person, snacks, sunscreen, real shoes. The visitor centre at the entrance has paper maps and toilets.
