Birdwatching from your verandah

The easiest birdwatching here is from your own verandah at first light, kettle on.

Regulars: crimson rosellas and king parrots in the flowering gums, kookaburras (you'll hear them first), magpies, grey shrike-thrushes, willie wagtails, satin bowerbirds when the figs are out.
