The hooded gas BBQ sits on your verandah. Tongs, plates, a wire brush — all in the drawer underneath.

To light it:

  1. Open the lid.
  2. Turn the gas on at the bottle (the round knob, anti-clockwise to open).
  3. Push and hold a burner knob, turn to high, wait 3 seconds, click the igniter.
  4. Other burners: just turn them on once the first is lit.
  5. Cook with the lid down — even heat, smokier flavour.

Finishing up: turn the gas off at the bottle first, then close the knobs. Wire-brush the grill while it's still warm — easier on you and on the next guest.
